Me and Bruce Campbell

As anyone who nerdy enough to visit my website probably already knows, Bruce Campbell was the staring actor in such films as the immortal "Army of Darkness" and the "Evil Dead" series. Bruce also starred in "Hercules the Legendary Journey" and wrote If Chins Could Kill and Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way.

If you're wondering whether or not there is a point to this story or whether I'm just an idiot rambling on with nothing else better to do with my time. You're probably right. Well, while I was at the local bookstore, I happened to notice that Bruce Campbell published a new book and, astonishingly enough, scheduled a book-signing event nearby! Since the alternative to having a book signed by Bruce Campbell would probably just be drinking and watching "Army of Darkness", I decided to give it a shot.

I was impressed. Not only is Bruce Campbell funny on screen, he's also an entertaining author and stand-up comedian. Bruce entertained us for a while and, although he wouldn't dance like a monkey for us, he was a pretty good sport. He took the time to chat with people in line, signed books, and had an amateur photographer on hand to take pictures with your camera so that you wouldn't have to do that awkward self-photograph at arms length and embarrass yourself.

The moral of the story is, I got the book signed and my picture taken, see above. Granted, I'm not photogenic, but these pictures of me are really unflattering. But what's really important here is that it proves that I met Bruce Motherfucking Campbell (I don't think that's his real middle name, but it should be).
